What my version of Earth’s Mightiest Heroes looks like, Avengers Ad Infinitum, in which I pit Arno Stark, the Maestro & Beta Ray Bill against the Defenders and an army of fight slave Infinity War doppelgängers.

That up there is a Lloyd drawing for a custom made Copra hardcover book made by a longtime reader. It collects the first 18 issues (plus Deathzone!) – an awesome, humbling, cool looking thing to hold.
See that drawing below? You might recognize that big guy as Copra’s own WIR teaming up with Miss Nina in this exclusive print! Check out her and her band’s crowd funding campaign for more info on how to contribute in order to get this Copra print (as well as other cartoonist prints that are available).
INTERVIEW! Comic New Insider chatted me up at TCAF and at the 40 minute mark I start rambling about self publishing and fight scenes.
REVIEW! La Habitación No. 26 reviews Copra Round Two! It’s in Spanish which is nice since I can forward it to my family and prove that comics are still part of my lifestyle.
PANELS! Another dedicated longtime Copra reader posted panels of every issue so far, four images at a time. When I say “longtime” I mean this reader was one of the first ten to subscribe to Copra when I first offered the sub. What this meant was that they would get a free sketch on the inside front cover for the first year’s worth if comics. Anyway, here are some panels.
Since I rarely ever look back on these issues, it was neat to see them all in one shot. It was also interesting to see what panels were singled out and zeroed in on. Those up there were the first 9 issue in reverse order. Here are issues 10-21.
Speaking of those first ten subscribers, here’s another one who posted pics of the actual sketches in his copies!
Check out the rest here. Kinda funny how you can see the amount of detail fall off one by one. Hey, I tried making them all as cool as possible! Completing every issue is a race against time itself. Time always wins but hell, at least I get an issue out of it.
Pin-Ups 2015
Revenger #2 back cover that I drew for this new Chuck Forsman comic [self] published by Oily Comics. This is one of my favorite modern comics.
This one’s for the Private Eye by Brian K. Vaughan & Marcos Martin. Major thanks to Panel Syndicate for delivering this great comic. See more guest artists here.
Ares: Bringer of War is George O’Connor’s latest installment in his massive Olympians book project. I drew this Ares head shot in honor of all those slain in the wake of George’s ambitious, destructive vision.

Sequart – massive Copra overview.
Eat Geek Play – sleek breakdown of the series.
Illustration Friday – nice showcase on various art pieces.
Topless Robot – Round Two review.
Comics Tavern – brief interview where I say stuff like:
“The only thing I personally hope this Suicide Squad movie does is raise enough interest in the John Ostrander/Kim Yale series to the point where DC puts it back into print, hopefully benefiting Ostrander. That run deserves to be on the shelves, high amongst the classics and making everything else pale in comparison.”

C O P R A # 19 and the year that was
COPRA #19 is here and it’s ready to kick off the latest story arc which features a new pack of weirdo assassins and impending doomsday! I know you missed them, so the Copra crew is back — but not before they have to go up against ASESINOS. Here’s a preview:
Also in this issue, a Copra story serialized on the back covers of this arc, written & painted by none other than the mighty DIETER VDO! If you don’t know his work, fix that problem right this second; it is amazing, all of it. I am honored to have him draw some bizarro brutality for Copra.
For those subscribers who put in their orders within the first few days, they’ll be getting a VITAS print, hand stamped from this carved out husk:
I have to thank those who have stuck by the book since day one, but I also commend those who tried out the series by ordering the first collection, ROUND ONE, published by Bergen Street Comics Press. Coming soon’s the follow up, ROUND TWO. Please keep your eyes peeled for that!
