Wrapping up COPRA<\/em><\/a> was the main event for me this year — it remains a surreal experience<\/a> — but it was also packed to the brim with new shows, new art, and new projects.<\/p>\n

After years of wanting to attend CXC, I finally had the opportunity to table at Cartoon Crossroads Columbus<\/a>, give a Talk & Teach<\/em> presentation<\/a> \/ COPRA<\/em>-focused panel<\/a>, and drop by local comic store the Laughing Ogre<\/a>.<\/p>\n

More conventions: BICS<\/a>, HeroesCon<\/a>, Rose City, Eddie P<\/a>, NYCC<\/a>, and a Q&A over at Everyone Comics<\/a> in Queens, NY.<\/p>\n

The final issues of COPRA<\/em> were simultaneously released<\/a> by Copra Press and Image Comics, who also released the collected edition aka [Death of] COPRA Round 8<\/a><\/em>.<\/p>\n
